Matt’s Burning Rosids – Stone Brewing – Bi-Weekly Beer Review Episode 2

Bi-Weekly Beer Review Episode 2
Matt’s Burning Rosids – Stone Brewing – Escondido, CA – Style: Saison with cherrywood smoked malts ABV 10.5% 4.5 out of 5
Dark orange color with a nice white head. The first thing I get out I the scent is Apricot with slight smokey wood and hops. Light sweet hops and I get a fruity apricot taste with the cherrywood in the aftertaste. I can tell this would be a good saison alone but the cherrywood smoked malts makes for a bolder more complicated palate. I had had this with two friends and everyone said “wow that’s good!”
